We have worked hard to introduce additional measures on top of our already high standards. We hope to be able to open the majorityof our services from early July, with some of the following necessary changes:
Whilst we have always prided ourselves on being open 7 days a week from 7.00am til late, given the current restrictions we regret that this (temporarily) is not possible. The hotel will therefore be closed each Monday from 11.00am through to the following Wednesday at 4.00pm for check-in. We intend to extend these opening hours as soon as possible.
All breakfast and dinner reservations must be made at the time of booking to ensure that we can book you into one of our restaurants with the required distancing. When making your booking, please state your preferred time of dining (extended hours of opening):
Breakfast – 8.00am to 10.00am
Dinner – 6.00pm to 9.00pm
Please note: we will not be able to take dinner bookings, unless booked 24 hours prior to check-in
Upon arrival after 4.00pm, we will direct you to the nearest disinfectant dispenser and then direct you to your room to avoid any congestion. We will follow the one-way system which will operate throughout the hotel
Breakfast & Dinner
All guests will be taken directly to their table in one of the allocated restaurants. Tables will be spaced accordingly. We would ask all residents to use toilets in their own hotel rooms where possible.
We would ask all guests and staff to respect the social distancing wherever possible.
Hotel Lounges & Bar
At the present time, these will not be open. However, drinks may be served between 4.00pm and midnight either in accommodation rooms or at your restaurant table.
Hand sanitiser gels will be located throughout the ground floor.
The House has always provided itself on the highest standards of cleaning which has been ratified by the continuous inspections we receive throughout the year. However, extensive cleaning will be carried out offering the best possible protection against potential COVID-19. Housekeeping will carry out all work whilst the hotel is closed between 11.00am and 3.00pm each day.
During opening hours, a regular sanitisation of high traffic areas e.g. door handles, handrails etc. will be carried out.
Please note: for stays of more than one night, housekeeping will not service bedrooms unless specifically requested. Hospiality & toiletry supplies will of course be replenished and placed outside your rooms.
Your bill will be placed under your door the night before check-out. The payment will be taken the following morning before breakfast with the receipt placed on your breakfast table. Should there be any discrepancies, then these will be refunded before checking out. Please place your key on the dresser by the front door when departing so that these may be sanitised for the next guest.
