Private Dining at Temple Sowerby House

The house lends itself to entertaining and we enjoy arranging special occasions and events.

Adjacent to the Restaurant and opening out onto the terrace and garden, is the private dining room, known as The Garden Room. This is a perfect setting for special occasions and family celebrations.

A party of up to 24 guests can be seated at one large dining table, whilst a maximum of 40 can be accommodated if the Restaurant is also used.

Menus are planned during discussions with you taking into account the occasion and time of year. One of the Reception Rooms can be reserved privately for you to greet your guests on arrival. We are also happy to help with place cards, table plans, flowers, a cake and perhaps a few special surprises too.
